Day at the Stockyards!

The city of Fort Worth has a long tradition with the cattle industry and is often referred to as “Where the West Begins”.

The famous Fort Worth Stockyards or “Cow Town” is like taking a step back into the Old West. The Stockyards has a whole host of western activities including the world’s only twice-daily cattle drive, cowboy hall of fame museum, Billy Bob’s – the world’s largest honky-tonk (cowboy nightclub to you and I!), steak houses, western shopping and rodeo!

We had a great day in Cow Town and our highlight was the cattle drive…

Zena purchased her first official cowgirl hat and look’s the part! She just needs the boots and a horse next to complete the look! Located only 20 minutes away from our house, we will be frequent visitors of this fabulous heritage site.
